Chapter A.3: Lucian's Downtime

Lucian, what are you up to in the days following the weird hunt?

The day after the mission with the weird, Lucian is cornered in the office by the communications director, Astraeus Knox.

“Lucian! Good morning! Congratulations on the mission yesterday. I’ve read your report on the team’s fight with the shoggoths and couldn’t help but notice that things may have gone smoother if more of the team had ranged weapons training. So! I’m taking you to the gun range and teaching you how to shoot. Are you free today?”

The well-groomed man doesn't let his perfect smile fade as Lucian lets the time tick by. "I was hoping to get Alric to come train too, but I haven't seen him yet this morning. I have seen Hope. Now, there's probably not much I can teach her about firearms, but I'm sure she can be convinced to come too once she's done with whatever it is she seems so determined about. Common, a little up-skilling away from the office would be good for you. Lets go find Hope and invite her, shall we?"
